STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Authorities have confirmed that a man has been taken into custody following a deadly shooting at a Wawa convenience store in Stroudsburg.

According to court documents, 25-year-old Andrew Joseph Quattrochi, of Bushkill, has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide in connection with the death of a 17-year-old.

The incident unfolded Saturday night around 8:00 p.m. at the Wawa on West Main Street. Officials say an argument escalated into a physical altercation, ultimately leading to the tragic shooting.

The victim, identified as a senior at Stroudsburg High School, succumbed to his injuries shortly after the altercation.
